Free Cat Desexing Program Launched

Free Cat Desexing Program Launched

From Monday 5th Feb, eligible residents can have their cat desexed for free.

Waratah-Wynyard Council (supported by a co-funding grant from the Cradle Coast Authority), the National Desexing Network and Somerset Veterinary Clinic have joined forces to offer local residents a subsidised desexing program to help prevent unwanted litters. We encourage anyone with a cat that isn’t desexed to call 1300 368 992 and take advantage of this offer.

Be quick! Offer is only available until funds run out.

To be eligible, you must have a valid pension, concession or healthcare card, have a low income or too many pets, or be adopting a stray or taking ownership of an unowned cat.

To take advantage of the offer, call the toll-free number below to get a voucher. Please note Council and Somerset Vetenary Clinic are unable to issue vouchers to residents.
