ANZAC Park all-abilities playground

Local charitable organisation The Fairy Godmothers, in partnership with the Waratah-Wynyard Council, has secured funding to construct a destination play-space that will realise the vision for a park that is fun, inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Draft Mobile Food Vendor Guidelines

Waratah-Wynyard Council recognises that mobile food vending businesses can add to the vibrancy of the Local Government area however, Council is also aware that they need to manage the competing needs and interests of local business, residents, consumers and users of the public spaces.

Waratah-Wynyard Council is seeking community input into a proposed set of guidelines to allow mobile food vendors to operate in the municipal area.

Wynyard Sports Precinct

Waratah-Wynyard Council adopted an Open Space, Sport and Recreation Plan (OSSR) in 2017 and as part of that strategy, a Wynyard Sporting Precinct was proposed. Development of the proposed precinct has progressed through the use of concepts and ideas generated by the OSSR report and from meetings with each of the clubs and key stakeholders within the sports precinct.
