Christmas and New Year Period
Residents, please be advised of changes in the waste collection schedule over this period as follows:
Kerbside Recycling Collection
All collections remain the same. Residents are reminded to have their recycling bins kerbside prior to 6:00am to avoid being late for collection.
Kerbside Garbage Collection
Waste bin collection for those properties normally collected on Monday, 25 Dec 2023, will occur two days prior, being Saturday, 23 Dec 2023.
All other collections remain the same. Residents are reminded to have their general waste bins kerbside prior to 6:00am to avoid being late for collection.
Wynyard Waste Transfer Station
The Wynyard Waste Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. It will be open all other days during this period from 10:00am to 4:00pm as usual.
