Salary and Conditions of Employment
Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Council’s current Enterprise Agreement and relevant award for each position. Please refer to the Position Description for role classification level.
Paid Parental Leave
The Council generously provides up to 12 weeks paid primary and 4 weeks paid secondary parental leave (conditions apply).
Salary Sacrifice

Superannuation
Waratah-Wynyard Council has a generous superannuation scheme – 13.5% for permanent employees personally contributing 6%.
Reward and Recognition
Council employees are recognised after 5 years of service and continued recognition at five yearly intervals.
Christmas Closure
The Council generously provides up to 3 days paid leave during the Christmas / New Year closure each year.
