Storm Damage - Road Closure and Emergency Updates
Please find the following list of road closures and other information, which will be updated when possible.
CLOSED: Bassetts Road (southern end), Boat Harbour Beach Walkway, Inglis River Walkway, Zig Zag Rd, Ingleford Rd (bridge closed), Lapoinya Rd, Lowries Rd, Meunna Road, Shires Lane, Smarts Rd, Wodhouse Rd, Boat Harbour Beach Playground and the Wynyard Yacht Club boat ramp closed until further notice.
AFFECTED/PART CLOSED/LIMITED TRAFFIC: Allens Rd, Sisters Creek, Deaytons Rd, Archers Rd, Lennah Drive, Reservoir Dr (south), Mt Hicks (south), Takone Rd, Boags Rd, East Yolla, Fosters Rd, Lighthouse Rd, Oldina Rd, Port Road, Scotts Rd, Tink Taylor Rd, Wiggs Rd, Elliott.
UPDATES: The Jenner Street boat ramp is now open, however, caution is required due to debris in the Inglis River and Bass Strait.
Frenchs Rd Reserve is now open, however, a pedestrian bridge is no longer useable.
Recent stormwater events have caused severe damage to some of Council’s civil infrastructure.
Council staff are attending to a number of issues such as bridge/road damage, removal of fallen trees and debris from Council roads.
Further updates will be provided when more information becomes available.
