Nelsons Road closed

Council has been advised that a large tree has fallen on Nelsons Road and a contractor will be onsite to clear the damage as quickly as possible. The road will remain closed until the tree has been safely removed. Thank you for your understanding.

Oonah Road bridge replacement

Works are commencing this coming Monday 22 August at the Oonah Road bridge over the Cam River. It is expected that only minimal traffic disruption will occur as there will be a by-pass bridge installed to detour by the bridge replacement works. Thank you for your understanding.

Update: Yolla Public Toilets

Council has been exploring sites to construct a public toilet in Yolla. Two places were identified as preferable sites for a public toilet given their proximity to the town and local business.

Road Closure – Devils Elbow Rd

Council advises that due to a large amount of debris from the recent storm event, Devils Elbow Rd, Sisters Creek (between Duniams Rd and Wienerts Rd) will be closed overnight. Clearing will continue tomorrow.
