A committee of dedicated local residents and Council members are working towards rehabilitating this area. Visitors must park in the car park and walk through up into this peaceful bushland.
Frenchs Road Nature Reserve exists for public use and is located at the end of Frenchs Road (gravel access road) off Seabrook Road, Lower Mount Hicks.
To help maintain the reserve:
- Please keep to trails.
- For large groups/organisations vehicle access and toilet facilities are available upon request.
- Keep your dog on a lead.
- Please remove rubbish on leaving.
- The Reserve has Land for Wildlife status. Fishing & recreational vehicle use and the lighting of fires is prohibited.
- There are disabled toilet facilities and picnic table provided at the Reserve.

Frenchs Road Reserve is a popular community space that can be booked for functions or commercial use. If you’re planning a gathering, market stall, fitness session or other organised event, please submit a booking request using the calendar below.
Before completing your booking, please ensure you have:
- Read and understood Council’s Facility Hire Terms and Conditions and Risk Management Terms of hire.
- Considered whether you need a Traffic Management Plan, Public Liability Insurance or other permits.
- Allowed adequate notice for Council approval
