Waste Disposal – Hardship measure introduced

Waste Disposal – Hardship measure introduced

At the April Council Meeting, the Council adopted a set of hardship offsetting measures including $0 gate fees to the Wynyard Waste Transfer Station for local residents’ disposal of domestic waste for cars/station wagons and wheelie bins.
These measures will not commence until the current NW restrictions relating to the Burnie Hospital outbreak have been lifted.

NOTE: As heightened NW restrictions were lifted from Monday, May 4, the new Wynyard Waste Transfer Station disposal fees have begun. Residents are reminded they are still required to stay home and only leave their house for essential purposes.
