It’s time to pause and soak in the colours, scents, textures and sounds of our newly completed project. Delivered as part of the East Wynyard Foreshore Master Plan, the Sensory Garden has been thoughtfully designed with community feedback in mind to create a space featuring seating, shade and creativity.
Features include:
- Mobility-friendly seating and pathways
- Natural shade from established trees, plus an installed shade structure
- Native flora
- Accessible parking
- A babel drum
- Public art, including the mural by Tammy Martin (@SpiritedTalesFineArt) and the arbor by Adam and Clarissa
