Waratah-Wynyard Council advises of the following temporary closures in Wynyard due to the Gone Nuts event.
1) Wynyard Yacht Club Car Park (eastern side)
The Yacht Club Car Park (eastern side of the complex) will be temporarily closed:
- From: 2:00pm, Friday 27 February 2026
- To: 5:00pm, Saturday 28 February 2026
This closure is made under Section 19(1)(b) of the Local Government (Highways) Act 1982, with the event declared a public function for the purposes of that section.
2) Wynyard Wharf Boat Ramp
The Wynyard Wharf boat ramp will be temporarily closed on:
- Saturday 28 February 2026
Alternative ramp: Jenner Street boat ramp
Re-opens: Sunday 1 March 2026
