This year, Council has endorsed a general rate increase of 3.90%, just above the Council Cost Index of 3.13%. This adjustment ensures we can maintain essential services and deliver important projects for our community.
♻️ The kerbside waste collection charge remains unchanged, thanks to the success of the FOGO (Food Organics, Garden Organics) rollout, while the Waste Management Charge has increased from $168 to $190—about 42 cents a week—to help cover rising landfill and transfer station costs.
