New public art at Camp Creek

New public art at Camp Creek

Our newest bird sculptures have been installed at Camp Creek as part of a Public Art Advisory Group initiative, celebrating the incredible biodiversity of our region.

Featuring the Latham’s Snipe, Black-faced Cormorant and Nankeen Night Heron, these pieces are more than just beautiful, educational artworks — they highlight the important story of Camp Creek’s unique ecosystem, home to a variety of native animals.

This installation includes details about three of the birds that call Camp Creek home, giving walkers along the path a place to pause, learn, and connect with nature. While visiting, you may spot local ducks — and if you’re very lucky, even one of the species featured in the sculptures.

Take a moment to visit, explore and enjoy Camp Creek. You can find these sculptures on the corner of Martin St and Old Bass Highway.
