If you’re passionate about protecting the environment and making a difference in your local community, Waratah-Wynyard Council wants to hear from you.
Expressions of interest are now open for short-term positions on the Sustainability and Environmental Advisory Panel (SEAP) — a group that helps guide Council’s work on issues like climate resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable development.
Formed as a result of Council’s Integrated Council Environmental Plan (iCEP), SEAP supports and contributes to initiatives that reflect the goals of the iCEP and its vision for a more sustainable future. The Panel has offered valuable input on local projects, helped guide environmental priorities, and supported efforts to protect and restore natural areas across the region.
The Panel brings together community members who care about our environment and want to be part of the conversation about how we manage our natural assets for future generations.
Council is currently looking to fill several vacant positions, with terms running until August 2026, and encourages residents from all backgrounds to apply.
Applications close Friday, 31 May 2025.
