Delivering on the Inglis River Walking Track Project

Delivering on the Inglis River Walking Track Project

As part of our Inglis River Walking Track Project, our Civil Works team has completed the new crossing path near the Inglis River Bridge — improving pedestrian access and creating a stronger connection along the walking track.

The team is now working along The Esplanade, starting with kerbing and installing the new path. Next up will be the car park, located on the corner of Austin Street and The Esplanade.

Please note: During these works, the old walking track along The Esplanade will be closed between 8am and 4pm.

The team has made fantastic progress, and we look forward to seeing this much-loved community walking track completed. The track not only supports health and wellbeing but also provides beautiful river views and connects to the regional Coastal Pathway. Once finished, it will be a lasting asset for our municipality — supporting recreation, active transport, and community connection.
