Are you thinking about standing as a candidate at the upcoming council election? Come along to a Candidate Information Session with Acting CEO Gary to learn more about what it’s like to be a councillor.
Gary will give a short presentation covering the councillor’s role, responsibilities, time commitments and what’s involved in representing the community. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about serving as a councillor.
These sessions are for prospective candidates and people interested in learning about the councillor role. They are not council meetings, community conversations or forums for discussing council decisions, projects, complaints or other local issues.
