We’re excited to share with you that our Council has taken first place at the 2025 Australasian Management Challenge — becoming the first Tasmanian team in history to win this prestigious title!
After winning the state final earlier this year, the team, named The Gutteridge Guardians, competed against the best from across Australia and New Zealand — and not only brought home the overall title, but also won Best Performing Team in a key challenge. 
This win is more than just a Council achievement — it’s a celebration of the incredible talent, leadership, and innovation we have right here in our region.
We’re honoured to share this achievement with our community as we continue to grow and put our beautiful town on the map!
