Waratah-Wynyard Council’s Tulip Festival

The charming town of Wynyard, along the northwest coast of Tasmania, is the setting again this year for the wonderful array of tulips of every variety. Activities surround the host of blooms to usher in the springtime and thousands come to town to enjoy the riot of colour along with food, drinks, music, special events, and parties to celebrate all there is to see and do.

Waratah-Wynyard Council’s Tulip Festival pays homage to the many varieties of tulips that sprout to welcome spring. Crafts, art, souvenirs, and floral varieties such as orchids and the famed tulip upon which the festival is built are all highlights of the Festival. During the festival, music, food, and attractions bring thousands of people to Wynyard in the spirit of community and appreciation of nature.
