Waratah–Wynyard Council is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our caring and supportive teams at Warawyn Early Learning Centre and Boat Harbour Outside School Hours Care (OSHC).

About the Roles

Our Early Childhood Educators play a vital role in supporting children’s development and wellbeing through play-based learning and high-quality care.

At Warawyn Early Learning Centre, we have multiple opportunities for full-time, part-time and casual educators across our long day care programs.

At Boat Harbour OSHC, we are seeking a part-time educator to support children’s learning and recreation in a fun and engaging after-school environment.

You’ll work as part of a committed team that values collaboration, creativity and inclusion. These positions suit educators who are caring, flexible and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or be actively working towards a qualification.
  • A genuine interest in the development and wellbeing of children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (or ability to obtain).
  • A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012) or willingness to complete.
