VEC Civil Engineering Pty. Ltd have now completed the demolition and redevelopment of the Wynyard Wharf. The project saw the demolition of the old wharf, and development of a 75m long concrete beam deck supported by polyethylene coated steel plies, a 55m long private berth pontoon and a 15m long public recreation pontoon.

Experienced project engineer, Bill Enkelaar, oversaw the contract and ensured works were delivered on time and within budget. Council's Manager Strategic Projects Office, Mary-Ann Edwards acted as stakeholder liaison, fielding any queries from the public and those immediately affected by the redevelopment.
