Nominations open for 2019 Australia Day Awards
Council is seeking nominations for the 2019 Australia Day Awards.
Nominations from organisations or individuals will be received until 5:00 pm on Friday 14 December 2018 for the following awards:
- Citizen of the Year for Persons over the age of 27 years on Australia Day, 2019;
- Junior Citizen of the Year for Persons under the age of 27 years on Australia Day, 2019 and;
- Community Event of the Year.
Nomination Forms are available from the Council Offices, by telephoning 6443 8320 or can be downloaded below.
Nominations should be sent to the General Manager, PO Box 168, Wynyard.
A Committee appointed by Council will assess the nominations and announcement of the winners will take place as part of Australia Day celebrations on 26 January 2019.
