Residents can transact all their Council business here. It is also the local postal agency and banking services are also offered. Community groups can book meeting rooms at the office.
The Waratah Rural Transaction Centre was officially opened in December 2003. The Centre includes a doctor consulting room, community library, computer on-line facilities, Medicare claims and updated post office facilities as a result of Council having entered a Retain Technology/Label Printing Agreement with Australian Postal Corporation.
