Young Person's Strategy 2011 - 2013

Waratah Wynyard Council recognise the valuable contributions that young people can make to the community and the importance of Council's involvement in the planning and co-ordination of Youth Services within the municipality. This Young Persons' Strategy forms the strategic framework for Council's youth development for 2011- 2013. This Strategy has been prepared in response to the identified need to develop a broad framework and future strategies to address issues relating to young people. The strategy formalises Council's committment to young people and outlines the role Council will play to ensure the needs of the young people in Waratah Wynyard are considered in the decision making processes.
