Some outcomes from the May Council meeting on Monday 20 May 2019

Some outcomes from last nights Council meeting:

Approved a draft Waste Strategy 2019-2024 for public consultation
Approved the release of a Boat Harbour Beach Masterplan for public consultation
Noted submissions from the Wynyard Showground Committees and agreed to work with these groups to develop concepts, project and business plans for the Showground site
Adopted the Central Area Development Strategies - comprehensive masterplan and design frameworks to guide sustainable development and public and private investment in the Somerset and Wynyard central areas.
Determined that a report is to be produced outlining opportunities to improve animal control, particularly education and dog related resources for owners and include information with the dog registration notices
